Designation of Post:- Assistant Accountant (HRM 574)
No of Vacancies:- 01 Position
Location:- Colombo
Basic Salary:- Rs. 22, 425/-
Qualification & Experience
- Part Qualification in (ICASL/CIMA/ACCA) from a Professional Accounting body
- Minimum 2 years experience in Accounting.
OR
- Qualified in AAT / CMA Minimum 3 years experience in Accounting
Competencies Required
- Conversant with Sri Lanka Financial Reporting Standards (SLFRS), International accounting & auditing standards
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software & MS Office
- Strong communication & language skills in Sinhala/ Tamil and English
- Strong analytical & interpersonal skills
General Required
- Ability to travel island wide when required.
- Should be a quick learner with the ability gain a solid understanding of participatory processes, joint management measures, community empowerment techniques, capacity building interventions and gender issues.
- Self-motivated and with an ability to work independently under difficult circumstances.
- A team player with the ability to achieve results through cooperation and collaboration.
- Abide by and work in accordance with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Fundamental Principles
- To uphold and respect the dignity of all Red Cross personnel and the people, that we the Red Cross serve
The appointment will be on Contract Basis, with the possibility of extension dependant on program requirements.
