Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess a certificate if Competency as a Chief Engineer issued by the Director General's Office of Merchant shipping, Sri lanka or a Government Maritime administration of the following countries 

united Kingdom, Australia, Canada, China, India,Pakistan, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, and Ireland or a country that has an agreement in mutual recognition with sri lanka for relevant certificates.

Experience

Having served as a Chief Engineer for a period of minimum 2 years in a trading merchant vessel with a Engine capacity of more than 3000 kw

02. Designation of Post:- Director (Navigation)

Applicants should possess a Certificate of Competency as Master issued by the Director General's Office of Merchant Shipping, Sri lanka or a Government marittime Administration of the following countires, United Kingdom, Australia,Canada, Hong kong, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, and Ireland or a country that has an agreement on mutual recognition with Sri lanka for relevant certificates.

Experience

Having served as a Master for a period of minimum 2 years in a trading merchant vessel with a Engine capacity of not less than 3000 G.T

Age:- 30 - 45 years
