Qualifications

* Pass in six subjects in General Certificate of Education Examination (O/L) with four credit passes including Sinhala / Tamil, English Language and Mathematics in one sitting

and

* Passed in Minimum if three subjects in General Certificate of Education Examination (A/L) excluding the comman general test and should have attained a qualification level to follow a tertiary education course

and 

Should have completed a Diploma in Nursing in National Vocational Skills notless than the 5th level from a recognized higher education institute
