Qualifications
* Should possess a certificate of competency as master on ships of less than 500 GT engaged on near coastal voyage (N.C.V) or any othe valid higher certificate of competency issued by or recognized by government of Sri Lanka.

02. Designation of Post:- Mate of Tugs

Qualifications
* Should have passed the G.C.E(O/L) examination in six subjects with Mathematics / Arithmetic . Commercial Arithmetic, Sinhala / Tamil language and english.

AND
* Should possess a certificate of competency as officer in charge on navigational watch on ships of less than 500 GT engaged on near coastal voyage (N.C.V) or any othe valid higher certificate of competency issued by or recognized by government of Sri La


03.Designation of Post:- Engineering Officer

Qualifications
* Valid certificate of cempetency as an Officer-in-charge f engineering watch limited to ships of propulsion power between 750KW and 3000KW engaged on near coastal vessels or any other valid higher certificate
