Educational Qualifications
* Should have obtained the L.L.B Degree from a University and have passed the final examination conducted by Sri Lanka Law College

OR
* Completed the 3 years course at the Sri Lanka Law College and passed the Final Examination and should have taken oaths as an Sttoney at Law

AND
* Should have been engaged in active practice as an Attorney at Law
