01. Designation of post:- Vocational Instructor

Qualifications
* Should have passed the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination in six subjects with credit passes for Sinhala / Tamil / English Language, Mathematics and two other subjects

* Certificate in the relevant vocation of a duration over two years or more obtained from the Sri Lanka Technical College


02. Designation of Post:- Sign Language Translator

Qualifications
* Should have passed the General Certificate of Education Examination in six subjects with credit passes for sinhala / Tamil / English, Mathematics and two other subjects at one and the same sitting

* Should have passed at least one subject (Other than General Common Test) at the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level)

* Should have obtained the one year Diploma in Sign Language Translators conducted by the National Institute of Education

03. Designation of Post:- Apprentice Translator

Qualifications
* Should have obtained a degree from a University

* Vocational qualifications in the field relating to the post wil be considered as a special eligibility
