Designation of Post of Temporary Senior Lecturers / Temporary Lecturers 

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Open University of Sri Lanka seeks suitable candidates for the above post in the Colombo Regional Center . 

Qualifications : 

For Temporary Senior Lecturer : Bachelor ( Honours / Special ) Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science / Software Engineering from a recognized university ( with a class ) , and a Masters degree in the relevant field having a minimum of two years of a research component or PhD degree in relevant field with 06 years experience after completing undergraduate studies . 

For Temporary Lecturer : Bachelor ( Honours / Special ) Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science / Software Engineering ( with a class ) from a recognized university . 

Subject areas : Should be able to teach one of the subject areas from Computer Architecture , Operating Systems , Internet of Things ( IoT ) , Performance Modelling and High - Performance Computing . 

Skills : 

• Skills in Python Programming , Database Modelling , Assembly Programming , Object Oriented Design and Programming and / or Mobile Application Development will be an added advantage . 

• The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal and transferable skills . 

Salary Scales : 

Temporary Senior Lecturer : Rs.79,360 ( Fixed Salary ) 

Temporary Lecturer : Rs.49,860 ( Fixed Salary )
