Designation of Post:- Divisional Coordinator (HRM  577)

No of Vacancies:- 02 Position

Location:- Colombo

Basic Salary:- Rs. 25,000/-

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma in either disaster management, public health, social sciences or related field
• Minimum 1 to 2 years work experience in project implementation

OR

• A/L qualified ( 3 Passes)
• Minimum 3 to 5 years work experience in project implementation

Competencies Required

• Good public relations skills
• Practical knowledge in community based approaches and participatory rural/urban development methodologies
• program implementation skills
• Ability to technically guide Community Mobilizers & Volunteers
• Sound interpersonal strong communication, skills in Sinhala/ Tamil and English
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications

General Required

• Ability to travel island wide when required.
• Should be a quick learner with the ability gain a solid understanding of participatory processes, joint management measures, community empowerment techniques, capacity building interventions and gender issues.
• Self-motivated and with an ability to work independently under difficult circumstances.
• A team player with the ability to achieve results through cooperation and collaboration.
• Abide by and work in accordance with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Fundamental Principles
• To uphold and respect the dignity of all Red Cross personnel and the people, that we the Red Cross serve

The appointment will be on Contract Basis, with the possibility of extension dependant on program requirements.
