Designation of Post:- Programme Manager  Tracing (HRM  576)

No of Vacancies:- 01 Position

Location:- Colombo

Basic Salary:- Rs. 55,000/-

Qualification & Experience

• Honours Degree in either Sociology, 
• Management or International Relations from a recognized  university 
• Minimum 5 years experience in project  management 

OR  

• Higher Diploma in either Sociology, 
• Management or International Relations from a recognized institute Minimum 10 years experience in project  management

Competencies Required

• Demonstrated experience in  project development and implementation 
• Excellent monitoring, reporting & analytical skills 
• Proven project management and administrative skills 
• Strong communication, inter personal & language skills in  Sinhala/ Tamil and English Proficiency in MS Office Applications

General Required

• Ability to travel island wide when required.
• Should be a quick learner with the ability gain a solid understanding of participatory processes, joint management measures, community empowerment techniques, capacity building interventions and gender issues.
• Self-motivated and with an ability to work independently under difficult circumstances.
• A team player with the ability to achieve results through cooperation and collaboration.
• Abide by and work in accordance with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Fundamental Principles
• To uphold and respect the dignity of all Red Cross personnel and the people, that we the Red Cross serve

The appointment will be on Contract Basis, with the possibility of extension dependant on program requirements.
