Qualifications
* Applicants should have passed the G.C.E O/L examination with six subjects including Sinhala / Tamil / English not more than two sitting

* Applicants should have obtained at least the 3rd place in an All Island School Competition

OR
* Applicants should have obtained at least the 3rd place in the National Sports Festival

OR
* Applicants should have obtained at least the 2nd place in the Proincial Sport Competition
